Jill Dalke

Jill Karen Dalke (nee’ Leszman) was born in Denver on June 13, 1956.  She is survived by her husband, Mark Steven Dalke, her brother Jeff Leszman (Allyson), brother-in-law Phillip Dalke (Cyndi), nieces Amy Leszman and Alexandra Dalke, and nephew, Aaron Leszman.

Jill met her husband on July 4, 1995 at the Rockies inaugural season of Coors Field. They were sitting next to each other in borrowed seats -- a chance encounter that resulted in almost thirty years together.

Jill died on March 23, 2023 after an extended illness.  She was a valiant fighter and never gave up in spirit. Her smile would light up a room. When out, no baby or dog would ever be passed by without her saying hello. Babies couldn’t help themselves and would smile and laugh. Despite her husband’s fears, she only received kisses from every dog.

The world is diminished by her passing, and she will be eternally loved and deeply missed.
