Born in Philly, her family moved to Atlantic City NJ while Toby was still a youngster. She loved growing up in the small town atmosphere of Margate NJ where, at the age of 19 she met the man she would wed a short two years later, followed by an even a shorter 10 months later when Toby became a mom, the role she would cherish more than any other.
Toby lived and loved deeply and everyone she touched felt the same about her. Toby was the matriarch of the family she was devoted to. Toby loved her two Cavalier spaniels and the FB group of Cavie people called the “Cavalier Brigade”.
Feeling the loss that words cannot describe are Steve, husband of over 59 years, son and daughter Brain Lubell and Lori Lubell Ventimiglia, sister Joyce Rosen, grandchildren Shayna, Sierra and Adam Ventimiglia, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Karen, her precious puppies Mac and Ruby T and extended family and friends throughout the country. Toby’s passing was preceded by her parents Betty Lischen Rosen and Albert Rosen.
We are planning two celebrations of Toby’s life for family and friends. The first will be Sunday July 23rd in our Willow Creek neighborhood clubhouse followed by a Philadelphia celebration the weekend of October 21st. Details will be posted on Facebook for Toby Rosen Lubell, Steve Lubell, Brian Lubell and Lori Lubell Ventimiglia.
On behalf of Toby the family would ask anyone interested to contribute in her memory to two Cavalier Rescue Groups:
